SHEN WINBERG

Shen Winberg spent his childhood in the extremes of Southern Afirca's landscapes, absorbing indigenous sound. From the rural rhythms around the Limpopo River, to the high flying sirens of Joburg, to the mellow waves of Kalk Bay, where he finished his schooling career. Now a fresh graduate from UCT College of Music, he aims to take over the world with his original sound. The diversity of childhood experience reflects in the diversity of his music, which ranges from acoustic rock to African eccentricity - with the unmistakable undercurrents of jazz.
